Nearly as noticeable as Valspar Mountain, Lake Romant is another of the larger features of the land. It is nearly the only water source, besides a few rivers and streams, that has not been tainted by the humans’ waste. It’s where the pack comes to drink, swim, and fish if they know how. There is legend of a monster lurking in its depths, but most have just brushed it off as a story to scare rambunctious pups. No one gives it much thought, though the place is an abundant source of life and food.
